Yahoo Paid Search $50 Credit Code

This is for your information and pass it on to all those looking to setup a Yahoo Paid Search account.
Many people have said that Yahoo dropped their $50 credit for new accounts and reduced it to $25. If you click the button below you will see how it says $25.00. But I happen to know that they are still running the $50 credit just like Google. In fact, here is the promotion code for those that wish to open a Yahoo Paid Search account and get the $50 credit (make sure you enter the Code below even though the screen says a different code).
From the last time I visited the Yahoo site, the only requirement is that you setup a credit card and then they will charge three times the minimum you set to spend on pay per click. So say you decide to spend $10 a day, they will charge $30 on the card etc. So you should be in good shape.
Once you go through the setup process make sure you look for the promo code window so you can enter it like it is below:
Get a $50 credit
Or call our sales team at 1-866-764-7650
Mon – Fri, 6am – 6pm PST
and mention promo code USPX06
Like I said Google has a similar credit for $50 and they just ask that you setup a minimum deposit of $10 to start things out and you can choose to pay for your ads "prepaid" as in a set amount on your card or pay as you go to be charged later to the card.
Microsoft Ad Center on the other hand, charges you a $5 setup fee to setup their account and asks you to deposit at least a minimum deposit and offer NO credit. I guess they don’t want to give you a break.
Once you sign up for either Google or Yahoo, give it a day or two for your credit to appear. You should find it in your Account settings area. If not, call them and they will credit you promptly.
I like these initial credits. When I first signed up for Paid Search services I used my initial $50 and I received over 300 visitors that day from the credit. Not bad for free.
The mother of website tracking

I am sure that many of you have some form or another of web tracking on your website for statistical purposes, but I don’t know if any of you use Visistat. Visistat is by far one of the most powerful website statistics companies for web analytics and visitor tracking. Visistat is rich in real time visitor statistics, site statistics, ad tracking, touch mapping and overall page popularity data.
I know that WordPress has a few plugins that will give you Statistics like ShortStats but I have found that it is limited to the same general data provided by most free statistical data providers. In reality, what I need to do is find a tool that does web traffic analysis beyond a simple site counter. Internet traffic on your site may be coming from many different sources throughout the world, and it helps to know where people are visiting from so that you can tailor your information to suit the audience. Laberinto Social is about living, entertainment, technology and work at home opportunities but I find that because it is a bilingual blog that it receives visits from all over latin america. User stats and internet traffic management tools like Geo Map help tremendously in mapping out what part of the world the visitors are arriving from. Going beyond a simple IP address tracker is what Visistat has accomplished.
They have a program where you can register and try out their entire suite of features and tools for seven days for free. If you like it, you can sign up afterwards, if not, you just saw the best in the market. Let me know if you find other tools that can do the same. I was originally looking for web analysis software or something that would tell me via cell phone when my website was down and how many visitors I get, Visistat does that and a whole lot more. I am very impressed with this site.
Website Statistics to your cell phone

I cannot believe that with all of the capability of web statistics, there is not one company that sends those statistics to your cell phone. I, like you, have probably signed up with maybe one or even two website statistics companies that give you "real time" data on everything from the number of visitors view your sites to all sorts of click through data.
However, not a single one of them sends you a short text message telling you simple data like number of unique visitors and page hits. Although a lot of them send you an email or a text to your cell phone to let you know that your website is off for whatever reason, they have not picked up on the fact that maybe some of us do not have the time to check our webstats daily.
If you find a solution provider please let me know. Its really surprising that there is no such capability (even though some social network sites hit you with messages and updates but still no statistics).
