A Six Figure Yearly Income

six figure yearly

There is an internet program available called six figure yearly that teaches a would be internet marketer, how to launch a daily income from internet marketing.  I have looked into six figure yearly and I have read its information and find that it is insightful and informative.  Much of what is considered an opportunity on the internet is affiliate marketing or successful blogging.  six figure yearly walks you through the experiences of Michelle Campbell whom is the creator of six figure yearly.

Her attempt, in a simple yet humble way, is to inform you about how internet marketing works.  This is carried about by telling you how she came about getting into internet marketing in the first place, and what brought the idea to mind.  Then, she begins informing you that in order to get into this business, you have to think in a digital manner.  That is to say, she wants you to view your time as valuable and to use technology to do things for you.  Without the mindset to think at this level, in her view, it is unlikely to become a six figure yearly success story.

six figure yearly Examined

Throughout six figure yearly, she points out the steps you need to take and of course, what techniques would and would not work if you try them.  Some of the suggestions in six figure yearly are explained well, and some are left with a bit of vagueness.  The vagueness is unavoidable I think because some of the things required to get up and running, are going to take up a lot more time than Michelle would probably want to go into.  For example, in six figure yearly she states that you could setup a website and build your own niche. However, she does little more than give you a link to visit the vendor and then its all up to you to figure out how to setup the rest.

If six figure yearly was able to deliver on its product, it would have to walk a person through about 4 to 6 months of training in order for that person to make their internet marketing efforts a reality. That is not to say that it wouldn’t work, its just that it is going to take a little more time than what is assumed.  For example, the six figure yearly website states that you can make $1,000 to $3,500 a day.  Now while this is possible, it is not giving you the complete picture in that in order to achieve those results, you must learn about proper pay per click (PPC) advertising campaigns and eventually, the need to learn web design and marketing.

six figure yearly Compared To Third Party Examples

There are powerful and successful marketers out there that spend $40,000 a month on PPC advertising, and make $140,000 for their work. You can cite his example by visiting his site directly:

In March using these 4 networks I budgeted $40,000.00 Of that $40,000.00 I was only able to spend $28,932.75 for a total gross return of $144,329.29 for the month of march from cj.com and azoogleads.com Ringtones affiliates. The last parting words I have is do your homework. Find out what you need to spend to make a profit then stand strong on your bids. I HIGHLY recommend not using any automated bidding software for PPC-> affiliate.

This blogger does very well for himself and is not afraid to tell people just how much he is making, but, he also tells you how much he spends.  With his background in internet security, it gave him a leg up, but not everyone has that advantage and needs to utilize programs like six figure yearly to begin.

So when looking at the possibility of purchasing a program or course like "six figure yearly", you just have to keep in mind that it is a potential entry into the world of internet marketing, but, it will take you through a learning curve like anything else in life.  six figure yearly does a good enough job of rock skipping across much of what it will be like in internet marketing, but it fails at times to go into the details to the level that is sometimes required.  For example, when Michelle discusses the numbers, it is done so across the surface.  There is no quantifiable analysis tool provided that would assist you in crunching those numbers to see how you would perform in the open market.  Some programs give you an ROI calculation tool, but this type of a resource is not included in six figure yearly.

six figure yearly Conclusion

With some limitations, six figure yearly can get your feet wet when you decide to try internet marketing.  And although I have seen some comments online about how six figure yearly doesn’t deliver, that is mostly what I was referring to above. When someone sets the expectation too high or assume that something is like a light switch that you can just turn it on and see tons of money on the table, then that person is probably not being very realistic about themselves or six figure yearly.

It all comes down to what energy you want to invest in the business of internet marketing.  Michelle Campbell can introduce you to internet marketing through six figure yearly, and certain programs can take you further by giving you calculation tools too.  But in the end, if you are committed to getting into this business, you just have to accept that you have to learn the business, learn a bit about web design, and learn a bit about marketing.  six figure yearly and any other tool you use is a great starting point, but you must invest more to get to $3,500 a day.

Twitter Marketing 101

Twitter Marketing 101 School

The image below just goes to show how far internet marketing has to go.  Twitter, a principal innovator of micro blogging,  just released a new landing page that features a video on the upper right hand corner.  Not only does it show the power of video in internet marketing, but it also proves the tale of the famous 80s song "video killed the radio star."

Twitter is cool.  Twitter is powerful.  It basically let’s anyone follow you around, and you can use this tool to give people updates and links to your latest activities and recommendations.  It is one of the few tools that a would be internet marketer could use that would give them a very good return for their investment (in this case, time).  Yet, as powerful as Twitter is, it still has to continue its own learning curve as witnessed by the insertion of the Common Craft "in Plain English" video.  Twitter Marketing 101 isn’t just for us, its for Twitter  too.

The Twitter home page does little to tell you what it can really do, and so Common Craft drove the point home easily with its simple use of video and paper cut outs.  When I first found out about Twitter, I signed up.  But honestly, I went to YouTube to learn how to use Twitter because I, like many, just signed up, -stared at the little bird, made a quik "twit" and then left.

Twitter Marketing

All the power of Twitter marketing, and it didn’t occur to them from the beginning to make a simple video that would tell the world how they work.  I would recommend to anyone that has a website or blog to either, include a How It Works tab on their website or a How It Works video.  There is just too much information on the internet these days (over 1 Billion websites/blogs and counting) to assume that people have the time for written lessons, or FAQs.

The days of FAQ are going the way of the Dodo bird.  I don’t like the fact that when I want an answer (a quick answer sometimes), I have to read every line item/linked FAQ entry in some site that assumes that 1) I have the time, and 2) care to read every single entry before I get my answer.  Sometimes I have to use the Find and Search tool on my browser to try to narrow the search parameters.  I find that on some sites, I just want to know how to disable something, and instead of reading all 100 FAQ answers, I type that something into the browser search tool to get as close as I can to the answer.  I am sure some of you have been there before too.  It’s a Call to Action in Action.  In my opinion, FAQs should be replaced with micro-Video FAQs (one minute quick-videos).

I am glad to see Twitter Marketing taking a lesson from the rest of the innovators as it now incorporates something it should have done a long time ago.  Maybe some of the other sites out there (del.icio.us for example) will do the same.  Add a video to your site: it works.

Irony Moment

Upon visiting the Common Craft site you will notice that despite their own great videos on everyone else, yes, they do have their very own FAQ

Does internet marketing look like a hamster wheel sometimes, or what? Twitter Marketing, try it and sign up for Twitter.  It’s powerful.

Landing Pages A Couture

Runway Landing Pages

In the fashion industry, a custom made-to-measure dress for a model is referred to as a couture.  This means that the dress is made specifically to the body type and specifications for that particular model.  Now let’s think a couture when we talk about landing pages.

Hobo Landing Pages

It amazes me to know that there are millions of dollars being spent daily on internet marketing campaigns, with little regard to where all that traffic is landing.  A consultant advertising his engineering mastery, is spending $5,000 a month to generate potential customers for his business, yet all of his visitors arrive at his homepage

  • which talks about his company;
  • and where they are located,
  • on over 50% of the page space

The other 50% of the page is being used up by a home link, a contact us link, a services link, and a galleria link.  All wonderful things I’m sure, but what does this say to your visitor?

He is thinking and searching, "I am searching for a mechanical engineer that can advise me on what steps to take to develop an engineer this widget."  You told him, "we are located in Dayton Ohio, and we have been in business for 20 years and we love what we do, and we do it well, and we would be happy to help you and now click on a link."

Targeted Landing Pages

With the number of landing pages (yes landing pages, not websites, think of how many more landing pages there are out there) and the amount of information that the Internet has to offer; there is a high probability that this person will seek the path of least resistance, and hit the back button to keep on looking for the information they are after.  What the visitor wanted to see, for example is "I am a consultant on mechanical engineering and I walk people through the steps necessary to develop and engineer widgets, welcome to my ‘a couture landing page’"

In other words, there is way too much information on the Internet for any online marketer to assume that a visitor will read all of the information on your page simply because you wrote it.  The average Internet visitor will stay on a page less than 7 seconds, and that includes the page loading time.  If your message is not clear; if your call to action is not front and center; and if you don’t do everything possible to improve the quality of your landing pages, you may be wasting your resources on visitors that will never lead to any business.  You can have the highest click through rates in the industry, but that doesn’t mean they are staying on the set for the show.

Your landing pages should incorporate the following minimum standards, if they are going to compete favorably in the marketplace:

  • they must be quickly scannable by the visitor
  • they must get to the point reasonably fast
  • they must centralize on a theme or message
  • they must have clear call to actions
  • they must be easy and friendly to navigate
  • they must tell your visitor what to expect
  • they must be viewable on every monitor
  • they must load as quickly as possible

For example, you can tell your visitor what to expect by simply adding a How It Works tab to your navigation panel.  A few quick steps, shorts messages, and clear instruction graphics in the How It Works tab can go a long way towards improving the possibility of increased conversions on your site.

Also, if your call to action is at the bottom of the landing page, and the visitor has to scroll down 12 times with his mouse to get to it; you may not benefit completely from these efforts.  Just think of a site visitor, the way you would want to be treated.  Think of what makes a website landing pleasant for you.  Did you find what you were looking for quickly?  Was it on the page you landed on?  Did you wait 10 minutes for the page to load?  Did you receive a quick How It Works lesson on what you can expect?  And, most importantly, did you sign up or inquire about additional information?

Now go visit your website and see if what we talked about here is relevant to your site.  When some one visits your site, what is their landing page?  There are countless books available on website optimization and landing page optimization, but what I recommend you use is a program called 1.Nternet 2.Money.  It covers all of the requirements of creating effective landing pages, while deploying an arsenal of information on conversions, traffic, content, and optimization.  It’s not 350 pages.  It’s just 12 chapters.

You built a beautiful website, now have it do what it’s supposed to do.
